As of March 1, 2007, natural runoff volumes for the March to September 2007 period are forecast to be above average into Dickson Dam and for Red Deer, at 111 and 108% of average, respectively (Table 6). This represents a rise of 3% of average at each location since the February 1 forecasts. The current forecasted volume at Red Deer would rank 60th lowest in 91-years of record (1912-2001). The March to September 2007 forecast volumes are 35 to 37% higher than those recorded during the same period last year. |
