Water storages as of March 1, 2008 in the major hydroelectric and irrigation reservoirs of the Bow River basin are below normal. Water storage is generally similar to storage at this time last year.

Water storage in the Dickson Reservoir in the Red Deer River basin is below normal, slightly less than last year's.

Storage volumes in the major hydroelectric reservoirs in the North Saskatchewan River basin are below normal. Water storage in Lake Abraham is slightly higher than at this time last year, while at the Brazeau Reservoir it is greater than last year.

Water storage in the Paddle River Reservoir is below normal and the volume is similar to storage at this time last year.
