Reservoir Storage Conditions

As of September 1, 2002, water storage levels in the major irrigation reservoirs in the Oldman River basin are normal, with the exception of St. Mary, Forty Mile and Oldman Reservoirs, which are above-normal for this time of the year (Table 1). Storage levels in the Red Deer River basin are above-normal for this time of the year (Table 2).

(Table 4) River basins are normal for this time of the season except for Lake Newell, Crawling Valley Reservoir, Lower Kananaskis Lake, Lake McGregor and Lake Abraham, which are above-normal.
