Reservoir Storage Conditions

As of November 1, 2002, water storage levels in the major irrigation reservoirs in the Oldman River basin are normal, with the exception of Keho Lake and the St. Mary, Forty Mile and Oldman Reservoirs, which are above-normal for this time of the year (Table 1). Storage levels in the Red Deer River basin are above-normal for this time of the year (Table 3).

Water storage as of November 1, 2002 in the major hydroelectric reservoirs in the Bow (Table 2) and North Saskatchewan (Table 4) River basins are normal for this time of the season except for Lake Newell, and the Crawling Valley and Travers Reservoirs, which are above-normal and the Brazeau Reservoir, which is below-normal.
