Bow River Basin - Water Supply Forecasts

As of February 1, 2007, natural runoff volumes for the March to September 2007 period are forecast to be near average in the Highwood, Elbow, Kananaskis, and Spray River basins, and average to above average at Banff, Calgary, and the Cascade Reservoir (Table 4). Current natural runoff volume forecasts range from 91 to 108% of average in the basin, and for the Bow River at Calgary would rank 53rd lowest in 91-years of record (1912-2001).
